Sydney Trains Vlogs The Movie 3 Coming Soon.

Hi all and welcome to another STV Blog.

I have some exciting news!
Over the past few months i have been working on a 3rd movie.
Seeing this is the 3rd movie i decided to film in 3 states.
Sydney (NSW)
Melbourne (VIC)
Brisbane (QLD)

Unlike the previous 2 movies i will also be including Trams/Light Rail.
These include Sydney Light Rail, Yarra Trams in Melbourne and the Gold Coast G Link.

Seeing the first 2 Movies were uploaded somewhat close together (only 4 months apart) i want to leave at least 6 months between the 2nd and 3rd movies.
STV The Movie 1: 19/4/2015
STV The Movie 2: 22/8/2015

Lady Class Ferries To Be Retired This Year

Monday 1st February 2016

A pinch and a punch for the first day of the month! Lol

Hey all and welcome to another STV Blog.

Today i want to talk about the Lady Class Ferries that run in and around Sydney.

For those who don't know what they look like there is a photo below.

We have 2 Lady Class Ferries in service.
Lady Northcott (as shown in the photo above) & Lady Herron.
These two ferries will be retired this year and will be replaced with six brand new state of the art ferries.

The Following info is open for correction however im quite sure it's correct.

Lady Northcott entered service in 1974.
Lady Herron entered service in 1979.

I'd suggest that all transport enthusiasts take a ride on these ferries and get as many photo's as possible before it's too late.

Thank you all for reading!
Stay tuned for more Blogs.

The '01 Trio

THE '01 TRIO:

On Monday 9th November 2015 i was in the City doing my "Opal Run" until i was notified that i must hurry to Erskineville to see something special..
I caught the next tram from The Star to Central station, ran over to platforms 22 & 23 at Central then caught Waratah set A26 to Erskineville station.
I couldn't have been at Erskineville for anymore than 5 minutes when i saw heritage locomotives 42101, 4401 & 4501 come around the corner.

Photo: 42101, 4401 & 4501 passing Erskineville Platform 3.
